IBM makes drive speed breakthrough

As you may know, IBM was the second hard drive manufacturer, after
Seagate, to break the 7,200 RPM speed barrier when it released 10,000
RPM drives around the beginning of this year.

What you probably don't know is that, according to the Club Mac catalog
I just received, they have now gone several steps further. The 9.1 and
18.1 gigabyte UltraStar 9LP and 18XP drives advertised in the catalog
boast a 6.5 ms access time and spin at 72,000 RPM. Stop the drive, I
want to get off!

I think Club Mac's staff has a good sense of humor. Their catalogs have
many more amusing typos like this than competing catalogs.
