About This Server

This server is an IBM (Cyrix) 6x86L PR166+ on an Amptron VX-Pro motherboard with 96 MB RAM (from First Choice Memory, The Chip Merchant and Sheldon Electronics), a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 video card based on the S3 ViRGE chip, a Logitech Mouseman, and a GVC 16-bit Ethernet card. The SCSI bus features an Adaptec 2940U host adapter, an IBM Ultrastar 9ES 9.1 GB Ultra-SCSI disk, a Seagate (Connor) TapeStor 8000 Travan-4 tape drive, an Exabyte 8200 tape drive (purchased used for $6.00), and an IBM-branded Toshiba 4101B CD-ROM drive. This machine runs the FreeBSD operating system.

Since December 18, 1995, this machine has been free of all Microsoft products.

While I do try to keep this server up continuously, I cannot always do so. Please expect occasional downtimes.
