The OS suck-o-meter

MacAddict magazine has an interesting OS-sucks-rules-O-meter, which they
describe as follows:

=====
Conceptually, the Sucks-Rules-O-Meter is a definite tour de force. Simple
yet elegant, it periodically searches the Alta Vista search engine for the
names of each of several operating systems followed by the words "sucks"
and "rules," then generates a cheery graph summarizing the results.

But, having given the Sucks-Rules-O-Meter its conceptual kudos, we must
point out a fundamental flaw in its methodology: "MacOS" isn't even the
real name of the Mac operating system. As all true Mac addicts who also
happen to be careful spellers know, that should be "Mac-space-OS."
Similarly, Windows-bashers could instead gripe about "Win95" or "NT." This
gives a natural advantange to Linux, the favored operating system of the
Sucks-Rules-O-Meter's creator, since its name is much harder to mangle.
While we can hardly blame Linux fans for skewing their data to boost their
platform, the system could stand some refinement.

Microsoft realized the jumbled mess of data it created on your hard drive
closely resembles the unending tangle of information on the Web, so you
might as well navigate Win 95 with its Web browser.
